CHRISTMAS!!! (30th Post)

Merry Christmas everyone!

At first I really didn't want to celebrate Christmas this year. Mainly because of Gaye (mother-not-so-dearest) moving to Florida without a warning or notice or any form of contact beforehand, and also because I feel like I'm finally figuring out who my real friends are and who are either bitches or still debatable... But it was mainly because of Gaye.

So, anyways, I didn't feel like celebrating because of what she did.

But then I thought, "Wait, the bitch is gone and out of my life! I'M FREE! I'M FREEEEEE!!!" So why let her lameness get me down?

So, I perked up again and decided "Fuck having an emo attitude for Christmas, one of my reasons for being depressed is not my problem anymore!" (At least not until I'm eighteen and I can own a handgun >w<)

Anyways, on to how things go down here on Christmas:

On Christmas Eve, everyone gets to open one gift. Usually it's something that'll keep us occupied for the rest of the night.

My occupation gift: Kingdom Heart 358/2 Days.

I flipped a shit and immediately opened it and started playing. I'm really impressed with the 3-D graphics! Quite a step up from Chain of Memories's (the first version for the Gameboy) 2-D set up.

I didn't get very far though until we started watching Christmas movies. But I've got until the third KH game comes out to beat it.

Hartley got Assassin's Creed II, and Matt got a CD by a band that has a name that is impossible pronounce (no, Aliss, it's not Eluvetie -pout-).

This morning was the main event, though.

Apparently all the gifts Hartley and Matt asked for were kind of expensive, and I ended up getting a SHIT LOAD of presents because all of my gifts were somewhat cheap. So, I'm going to risk sounding spoiled by saying, HOORAY!

I got four long-sleeved shirts that I can either wear alone or with another shirt over top. One's kind of a cherry color, one's gray, one's white, and one's black.

Present count (PC): 5

Next I got a Flapjack shirt that has him and Captain K'nuckles on it, and it says "Frenemies Forever". I got a Death Note shirt that has L, Light, and Misa on it in Powerpuff Girl style, and Ryuk is in the background wearing Mojo Jojo's cape, and in the same lettering as the Powerpuff Girls logo, it says Death Note Cuties.

A studded belt, two pairs of knee-high socks (one has skulls and the other is black-and-white-striped with blood splatters on it), and a shirt with GiR riding a piggy on it.

Vol. 13 of Death Note: How To Read, a Peach-Pit Rozen Maiden artworks book, an epic journal that I called Aliss about and was pretty much groping while I was talking to her, two sketchbooks, a packet of two silver Sharpies, and a bucket of 150 crayons.

An Alice in Wonderland throw blanket, Boys Like Girls CD, GIANT POCKY, the entire collection of Powerpuff Girls episodes, a reading light, an iTunes card, and two gift cards (one's Hot Topic and the other's Best Buy).

Twenty-five gifts. I made out like a bandit for fuck sake!

Sorry if it sounds like I'm bragging. I'm just really shocked at how much stuff came in this year. I only got about half as much last year, and I'm actually not even sure if I listed all of them.

I almost got everything I wanted, but there were three things I didn't get:

~A Twilight shirt that says "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb." on the front, and then on the back it says "But later the lion got a little hungry." ~A Zombieland shirt that says "I ALWAYS follow the rules." on the front and lists all the rules from the movie (and even some that weren't mentioned in the movie) on the back. ~And Princess Debut for the DS. Yes, I asked for a girly video game, but it's actually not a girly little dress-up thing. From what I've heard it's an actually pretty fun RPG that has a different ending depending on which prince you decide to be with or something.
