The Last Airbender

FUCKING SUCKED.

It sucked so bad that I need to separate my reasons into categories for fuck's sake!!!

~1. Characters that did not appear~
-Suki
-The Kioshi warriors
-Bumi
-Jet
-The Freedom Fighters (that's what Jet's group of ruffians was called, right?)
-The Pirates
-Haru
-Avatar Roku
-Aunt Wu (Woo? Whu?)
-Meng
-THAT BADASS MOFO, THE CABBAGE MERCHANT!!!
-AND FOAMING MOUTH GUY!!!

~2. Names/Words pronounced wrong~
-Aang = Ahng
-Avatar = Ah-vah-tar
-Iroh = Ear-row
-Sokka = Soh-kah
-Agni Kai = Ag-nee Kee

~3. Canon~
-No Kataang hints, what-so-ever.
-The only Zutara hint is after he fucking knocks her out and says "EL OH EL SORREE I NEED TO REDEEM MY HONOUR AND STUFF"
-The only canon was the SokkaYue pairing.
-AANG WASN'T HIS ACTING LIKE THE GOOFY TWELVE-YEAR-OLD HE IS!!! HE DOES FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES AND THEN IT'S LIKE "EL OH EL I'M JUST GONNA BE ALL SERIOUS AND SHIT NAO KTHNXBAI"
-Iroh wouldn't shut the fuck up about Zuko finding a girl. He only mentions tea once. ONCE. HOW NON-CANON IS THAT?!?!?!
-Zhao was killed by the water-fish-zilla-avatar-state-Aang in the show, right? Or a giant wave? I keep forgetting which, but I definitely know that he was not supposed to die from a bunch of Waterbenders bending water around him, lifting him (inside a waterball) into the air, and when it looks like he's going to be thrown off the bridge, they don't, and suddenly he's dropped on top of the bridge and he doesn't get up. The quiet whispered convo went as follows:
-Aliss: Did Zhao just... die?
-Me: (understanding her ever-appropriate reference) Y'know, it was really unclear...
-I thought women weren't trained to use their Waterbending for more than healing in the Northern Water Tribe...

~4. Appearances~
-I didn't even notice Zuko's scar until I saw a slight bump on his face when he turned at a certain angle.
-Master Paku was fat and had short hair.
-Iroh was tall, thin, and had fucking dreadlocks.
-I think Paku and Iroh should switch roles.
-Where did Katara's hair loopies go?
-Sokka's warrior's wolf tail was too long.
-Zuko's hair was too short for him to look first-season-ish.
-OZAI PRACTICALLY HAD NO HAIR AT ALL!!! AND HE HAD A LAZY EYE!!! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!?!
-There was a kid whom Aliss and I assumed was supposed to be Haru, but they never said his name. If he was supposed to be Haru, then he looked like a five- or six-year-old girl. And his dad was wayyy too young.

~5. Places~
-The part with the supposed-Haru took place in a village, not on a ship.
-Kioshi Island wasn't even an island. It's the same village that the supposed-Haru lives in.
-WHAT HAPPENED TO OMASHU?! WHERE'D IT GO?!?!?!?!
-AND ROKU'S ISLAND?!?! HOW THE HELL IS AANG SUPPOSED TO LEARN ABOUT SOZIN'S COMET (which, apparently, happens in a few years, not the end of Summer -_-)?!

~6. Bending~
-There was practically none of it.
-Everyone's movements were out of sync with where the element was going. Except for once when an Earthbender needed to create a wall to block some fire from burning him.
-Speaking of fire, the Firebenders needed some to be around just so they could bend it. Except for Iroh.
-Aang couldn't figure out how to Waterbend right away.
-The Waterbending just looked like a bunch of random dance moves mixed in with some arm wiggling. Most of the time water wasn't even bended. It was literally just dancing.
-The bending is supposed to be instantaneous, but in the movie, you have to do a fancy dance before anything actually happens.

~7. Spirit World/Avatar State [YIP YIP!]~
-Avatar Roku was replaced by whom Aliss and I assumed was his dragon, Fang, whom could somehow talk.
-According to Gran Gran (whom they called Grandma -_-), the spirits watched over the four nations.
-Aang never did turn into the giant water-fish-zilla thing when he went into the Avatar State. What he did do was create an intimidating wave, and then didn't even destroy the ships with it.
-Zhao stabbed the moon spirit. What the fuck.
-The Haibai Spirit somehow vanished, as well as the Face-Stealer.

~8. Momo (yes, he gets his own category)~
-He showed up, yes, but when he did, he was called a flying bat lemur.
-He's there the whole time, but they only call him Momo ONCE.

~9. The only good things~
-Azula, even though she was in the movie for a total of less than one minute.
-Yue, because she was the only mostly-accurate character, both in cannon and appearance.
-The Fire Nation ships.
